The relationship between a priest/teacher and student is sacred. Confidentiality shall be maintained with two caveats;

 

1. A priest/teacher seeks advice from another priest/teacher

2. A student is in crisis and is a danger to themselves or others. In such a case the priest/teacher is a mandatory reporter and accepts responsibility for reporting to the appropriate authorities.
