About the event
We would appreciate if you could join us before the top of the hour, so that introductions can be made.
On the hour we will ask for everyone to mute, the bell will ring 3 times (we bow to Buddha, Dharma, Sangha) and then start.
If you arrive after the sesson has started please enter muted and wait to be welcomed afterwards or an appropraite time to introduce yourself, afterwards.
Even if your not familiar with the chants, they are all done in English (as its the main language of the sangha group that meets); what's more important is to take the time to connect to the rhythm, tone and pace of the event.
We then sit in meditation/zazen for 20 minutes.
Not quite up to 20 minutes? No worries. Join in the sit for as long as you are able, returning to it if you can within the time slot.
Not quite up to showing your face on camera? Again, no worries. Hopefully as you get to know us this may change
No judgements, no apologises required; just remain on mute.
